The weekend beginning Friday 17th saw 60 people attend the 2014 "Masters@Maggie" Camp on Magnetic Island. The weekend provided participants with great training, learning, club support, encouragement and awesome fun.
Senior Master Jamie Moore 8th Dan and Master Neville Burn 7th Dan with assistance from our Senior Black Belts conducted training sessions and a huge Dan grading (20 applicants).
Training began not long after arrival on Friday night and included:
- Early morning sessions on the beach/jetty before breakfast.
- Self Defence – including learning how to best defend against knife attacks.
- Unique group massages to relieve sore and tired muscles.
- Crazy training in the ocean! Not just patterns and kicks but push ups and take downs included!!!
The Black belt grading huge and awesome. Everyone put in a great effort and showed a high standard in their testing. The results are as follows.
